Position : Workday Project Manager

Location : Duluth, GA

Duration : 4+ Months

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

• Candidate will assist the Program Manager in all things related to project management on a large scale, global Human Capital Management System implementation / conversion.
  
• Candidate will be responsible for working with key project team members across HR, Finance, IT, and Communications to integrate their deliverables into the client project plan.
  
• Candidate will be responsible for synchronizing the client project plan with that of the implementation partner.
  
• The candidate will continually interface with theclient PMO on the status of the project, compile and prepare weekly roll-up status reports, and review status reports including issues, next steps, and accomplishments with the Program Manager and Steering Committee.
  

 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with reporting detailed and summary status, milestones, and deliverables regarding project assignments
  
• Experience with project estimation, including gathering resource requirements, technology/process requirements, duration, and costs
  
• Background in systems analysis, cloud-based software implementation and systems integration
  
• Ability to present and explain technical information in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences
  
• Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
  
• Must be able to support multiple sub projects and iterations with several working groups simultaneously
  
• Ability to weigh various suggested technical paths against original business needs and recommend the most cost-effective solution based on timing and other priorities
  
• Consistently and constructively solicit, clarify, and acknowledge individual perspectives, feedback and opinions with open-mindedness and flexibility; making adjustments as appropriate to approach, scope, time, and resources
  
• Self-motivated, drives to closure
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an ever-changing environment
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Additional Qualifications:
  
•  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager with preferred experience in human capital management disciplines
  

• Experience with Workday is required
  
• PMP or other advanced certification/degree highly desirable Nice to Have
  
• Skills: Experience with Human Capital Management systems and Payroll implementations
