Location: Blue Ash, OH.
Duration: 6 months with a possible extension
Position Summary:
Customer Communication and Marketing is embarking on a very critical project to revamp the applications used throughout the organization. Many applications are being swapped out for new and we need to coordinate the onboarding of these applications and make any technical preparations to onboard the applications. We need an analyst to lead this effort and collaborate with the Lead on our current team to ensure knowledge transfer.
Essential Job Functions:
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the following:
· Author and maintain security documents
· Work with corporate security (CIS) on documentation approval
· Lead discovery of file formats, file transfer protocols, and file transfer workflows
· Create diagrams and flowcharts for current and future workflows for each file transfer and application
· Engage Kroger Technology, business, and vendor teams at the right time to define transfer details and design solutions
· Work with the necessary teams to develop application interfaces
o Potential data feed from ESP
o Potential data feed from REM
o Potential data feeds from other Kroger system
· Setup and configure interface servers (Linux OS)
· Write shell scripts to automate and schedule file transfers
· Other task as assigned by the project and technical leadership
Required Skills and Experience:
· 5+ years' experience with file transfers methodologies
· 5+ years' experience with Linux OS
· 5+ years' experience writing shell scripts
· Experience working with large file transfers
· Experience working with variable transmission protocols
· Experience designing file transfer workflows
· Experience creating diagrams and flow charts
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Excellent team building skills
· Ability to lead the project and work independently is essential
· Familiarity with the Kroger network, applications, and business processes is strongly desired
· Marketing and advertisement background is highly desired
