Title: SAS Analyst

Location: Durham,NC

Duration: 12 month contract

Business Analyst with some SAS EBI Solutions experience to assist with customer activities including but not limited to user support, query design, data quality development implementation and support of the SAS EBI solution.

Person must have excellent customer facing presentation, communication and problem solving skills.

Healthcare data experience, specifically Medicaid or Medicare, are encouraged to apply.

 

*The individual will be onsite at client location approximately 3 days a week. Provide on-site support (e.g., requests for ad hoc reporting assistance, miscellaneous research, advise on analytic methods) and training to client end users.

• Conduct data analysis using basic skills in statistics and database management.

• Complete assignments on time and manage tasks.

• Conduct scheduled and ad hoc user training.

• Review claims transactions and work with our Data Warehouse and SAS

• Interact with clients in a professional manner and respond quickly to customer requests.

• Interact with project team in a collegial and professional manner; help foster teamwork to complete designated tasks.

 

Skills:

• 3 - 5 year healthcare industry work experience.

• Experience in SAS highly desired

• Proven task management skills.

• Strong analytic skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment.
