Job Requirements: Job Responsibilities
· Excellent C skills.
· Embedded systems experience is a must.
· Experience in the POS or financial transaction processing industry STRONGLY preferred.
· A results-oriented attitude is a must.
· Your peers consider you a top performer; you are both very fast and very effective.
· Ability to plan a project for yourself and others so that all milestones are met or exceeded.
· Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
· Ability to take ownership of large tasks and/or projects with little or no assistance from others.
· Participates in design, documentation, and code reviews.
· Perform through unit, integration and system testing.
· Support Quality Assurance testing.
· Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems.
· Responsible for resolving library and application related problems.
· Works with technical groups, quality assurance, and customer support groups to resolve problems.
Qualifications
· Education/Certification: B.S./B.A., technical certification, or equivalent experience.
· Required Knowledge: Previous application development experience in C or C++ with terminals from one or more of the following POS equipment vendors: VeriFone, Hypercom or Equinox.
· Experience Required: 4-7 years work experience.
