Position-IT -Senior Business Analyst

Location-Eden Prairie, MN

Work hours:                          8 to 5

·         ·         Specific title of the position: Sr. Business Analyst

·         ·          Project/Projects  the candidate be working on while on assignment:

·         o    Government HIT projects: Enterprise Data Warehouse, Analytic Framework,

·         ·   Part of a team :  Government HIT project team,proximately 6 to 8

·         ·   Top 5-10 responsibilities for  this position

·         o    Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

·         o    Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and complete artifacts, including solution design support

·         o    Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team; provide suggestions and recommendations

·         o    Lead internal review sessions with all levels, including senior leadership

·         o    Document, discuss and resolve business, data and reporting issues within the team, across functional teams, and with business stakeholders

·         o    Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data, workflow and/or functionality

·         o    Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of relational databases and healthcare data

·         o    Present written and verbal data analysis findings, to both the project team and business stakeholders

·         o    Effectively communicate with many levels of the organization, business stakeholders/SME, project managers, developers, system architects, quality assurance, operations, etc

·          

·         ·         Software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities:

·         o    Microsoft Office, Rally (Agile Development Tool)

·          

·         ·         Skills/attributes are a must have:  

·         o    Broad industry knowledge across multiple of the following healthcare domains: claims and administrative, EMRs and clinical data, CMS (Medicare/Medicaid), health insurance and health information exchanges, emerging healthcare trends and other domains as appropriate

·         o    Effectively leads large, complex projects and work assignments across a team

·         o    Ability to lead, motivate and develop resources in direct or matrixes reporting relationship 

·         ·         Skills/attributes are nice to have:

·         o    Graduate Degree/MBA, CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) data/business experience
