Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Barrington, IL

Duration: 12+  Months

 

Someone excellent with QTP, ALM and Selenium – Also have Java side testing experience.

 

The skill set needed would be -

·         Creation and Execution of automation test cases using QTP, load runner, VB scripts

·         Perform BDD using JBehave and support manual testing efforts.

·         Experience working with ALM, IBM clear quest

·         Creation and execution of Test Designs and Test Automation in Java

·         Identification and reporting of issues and defects

·         Creation and Setup of test machines from virtual infrastructure.

·         Ensuring adherence to test and quality processes

·         Ensuring proper documentation of all results and ability to provide detailed reports for failure cases

·         Working in an Agile test environment

·         Coding and troubleshooting in Java

·         5 to 6 years of work experience in software testing or development

·         Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum

·         Understanding of software testing methodology/processes and software development

·         Technical skills in both test and development

·         Experience in writing and executing JUnit tests

·         Experience working in multiple development environments, and with a variety of operating systems

·         Experience with test tools such as Jira, JMeter, JBehave, and Quality Center

·         Experience Installing and configuring software, testing environments – both physical and virtual.

·         Knowledgeable in XML, Microsoft SQL Server, Java or .NET

·         Self-motivated and team player
