Sr Java Developer

VISA Status : H1 B / GC / US Citizens

Atlanta, GA

6 Months

Telephonic + Skype

 

H1 is allowed ONLY if the candidate has 

1. Capital Markets experience (Equity Derivatives and worked with tTrade capture applications such as Calypso or home grown)
2. Strong in Java

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 to 7 years' experience with developing and implementing applications
• Expertise in Java (1.6 or above)
• 3 to 7 years of Java development with strong Object Oriented programming experience.
• Strong Core Java, multi-threading experience
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL including working experience with Oracle and/or Sybase .
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), demonstrated experience with client and server side Web Services development using JAX-WS, CXF or SOAP stacks
• Excellent people skills interacting with the business

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Finance or related discipline
• Experience designing/building front-to-back capital markets trading systems will be especially valuable.
• Experience with Calypso or any other trading platform is a huge plus.
• Domain experience in developing software or implementing software in support of any or all of the following asset classes: interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives or fixed income
