ROLE- Windows Admin
LOCATION- Deerfield, IL.
JOB DISCRIPTION.
Strong proficiency working on Windows Server 2008 – specifically installing, uninstalling, and general system administration required (Microsoft certifications are preferable)
5/4+ years application support experience on a Windows application leveraging IIS (Internet Information Server) – troubleshooting problems with a Windows based application (either Production or Non-Production support background)
Appfabric framework exposure is required.
Linux experience is preferred as our application is highly integrated with other components/applications on this platform
Ability to quickly understand and document the data flows of a highly integrated application
Exposure to various middleware types: Datapower, Message Queue (MQ), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
Experience working in a Service Oriented Architecture environment (SOA) along with familiarity of IBM's Websphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) is preferred.
Strong knowledge and experience on SQL Server 2008 (should understand DML, DDL, Inner Joins and stored procedures). MySQL or PostgreSQL experience would also meet the SQL Server 2008 experience requirement.
