Job Description:Migration of Oracle EBS applications from Solaris to Linux, application troubleshooting, patch analysis and deployment, cloning and optimization.
Oracle EBS (Enterprise Business Suite) DBA:
1. Migration of Oracle EBS applications from Solaris to Linux
2. Application troubleshooting
3. General DBA administration within the EBS suite
Applications DBA Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day and project support for Oracle Applications. This includes but is not limited to: patch analysis and deployment, cloning and optimization.
- Communicate to stakeholders via standard methods (e.g. orally, email, ticket system)
- Resolve incidents and problems.
- Communication of same to stakeholders.
- Facilitate the promotion of application code, setups, databases and related components from the various levels of development through staging and production
- Follow standard ITSS operational methods utilizing ITSS’ standard tool set
- Development of technical procedures, scripts and associated documentation - Assist in disaster recovery preparation, planning and testing.
