Role: Hadoop Architect 

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 6Months

Job Type: Contract

Start Date: ASAP

No of positions: 1

JD: 

Design and implement solutions that leverage big data technologies (MapR) to complement existing data warehouse environments

Create architectural designs, detailed implementation plans and low level technical designs

Lead a team of Offshore Hadoop developers in delivering the solution

Liase with client team to understand the requirement and show case solution in iteratively

Should be able to design  data extraction methodologies from source systems

Should be able to recommend appropriate technologies like Pig, Hive, MapReduce to do the data processing
