Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: Telephonic Hire only Need Only USC, GC OR EAD GC Qualifications BS in Computer Science, or equivalent technical training and experience 3-4 years ESQL/C programming experience 4-5 years SQL Server Database environments/experience 3-4 years Informix Database environments/experience 3-4 years UNIX operating systems Ability to effectively understand, communicate and relate to other team members as well as all levels of the organization Ability to understand technical manuals, software specifications, hardware principals of operations and systems software operations Responsibilities Design and implement performance tuning and functionality enhancements for Retail Databases. Provide 24x7 maintenance and support of all Informix Databases, Netezza Databases and SQL Databases. Install Database environments to meet the needs of a fast growing and dynamic organization. Support all versions of SQL Server Database environments. Support all versions of Netezza (Pure Data) / IBM Database environments Support all versions of Informix Database environments Installs, tests, maintains, designs, and documents database management systems, utility programs, monitoring tools, etc. Modifies existing and/or creates new software for specific enterprise requirements; provide technical support for the applications and/or systems and/or operations staff Participates in the feasibility studies for the installation of new software
