Risk Systems Developer, C#/SQL
CONTEXT
Major financial institution in Chicago is looking for a Software Developer with programming experience in C# and SQL.
This person will need to have excellent teamwork skills as this person will be expected to work with a diverse team of full time employees and consultants.
This is a 6-month opportunity with the possibility for extensions, and will report to the Director of Risk Systems Development.
QUALIFICATION SUMMARY
1. Strong communication skills - Consensus building and collaboration skills will be important to succeed in this role.
2. Expertise - in business systems development, risk management/financial systems is a strong plus.
3. Experience - programming in C#, .NET and SQL
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS (RESPONSIBILITIES ETC)
1. Expertise in building high performance complex systems.
2. DB design skills, good understanding of SQL Server performance
3. Strong analytical skills.
NICE-TO-HAVES
1. Experience in C++ and IBM Symphony platform
2. Financial math knowledge
3. Mentoring and Documentation skills
