Position :-Network Engineer

Location :-San Francisco CA

Duration :-3+ Months Contract

 

Job Description for Network Security Resource:

·               BS in Computer Science or related Engineering Discipline

·               8+ years of experience recent operational hands on experience in highly scalable and availability footprints across various network technologies

·               Must have extensive experience in implementing and troubleshooting Juniper SRX, NSM and Cisco firewalls.

·               Must have extensive hands on experience in designing and implementing enterprise/carrier-class network JUNIPER MX router

·               Must have experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting Juniper SSL VPN

·               Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocol such as BGP, OSPF,and MPLS.

·               Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Bluecoat Proxy, Palo Alto Networks will be added advantage

·               Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.

·               Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and written in a professional manner.

·               This candidate will also understand the rigors of operating a global, 24x7x365 large scale network, and will act as a tiered support for high-severity and business impacting issues.

·               Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.

·               Deep knowledge of firewall configuration across a multi-vendor environment

 

Desired Skills & Experience

• Juniper, PCI, NSM, PaloAlto, ASA Firewalls 
• JNCIE-Security, JNCIP-Sec, JNCIS-Sec 
• CCNP Security or any other Security certification.
