Duration : 6+ months
Pay Rate : $55/hr Max
Location : Houston, TX (Locals)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Design & develop the process to move data between premise and AWS (Amazon web services).
• Configure and maintain AWS EMR environment as well as components in the HADOOP ecosystem.
• Work on HBase design, data ETL using Hive or Shark or Pig.
MANDATORY SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
• Solid knowledge of HADOOP architecture and ecosystem. Any of the following: (NAMENODE, DATANODES, JOBTRACKER, TASK TRACKERS, HIVE, PIG, FLUME, Hbase, etc).
• Hands-One experience using Hive or Shark or Pig for ETL.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• Strong Linux experience including complex shell scripting.
• Hands on experience with integration between AWS services (EMR, EC2, S3) and premise data source.
Any experience with Python is a plus
