We are pursuing an opportunity in cloud migration and scripting. For this, we are looking for expertise in OpsCode Chef and migration experience from physical infrastructure to cloud infrastructure. Additional technology requirements include KVM virtualization, Python, Ruby, Kickstart, PXE booting and Preseed.

 

 

Role: Principal Engineer.

 

Location: Fort Collins, CO-USA

 

JD:

o             The ideal candidate has lead migration projects from physical infrastructure to cloud-based infrastructure.

o             Linux systems engineer – min 15 years                                                                                                                                                    

o             Enterprise infrastructure engineering and management – min 10 years

o             OpsCode Chef – expert level: managed large installations and extensive experience writing cookbooks.

o             KVM virtualization technology – expert level

o             Python – strong experience

o             Ruby – strong experience

o             Kickstart – strong experience

o             PXE booting – basic knowledge

o             Preseed – basic knowledge

o             Outstanding written and verbal communications, little accent.

o             Located in Fort Collins CO.
