Job Title: Network Architect-with Cisco Nexus experience.
Location: DC metro Area, DC USA
Duration: 12Months+ (extendable).
 
Skills Required:
  • Must be strong with  Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000
Description:
  • Network Architect to lead the effort to design, document, develop implementation plan, and assist with deployment of a new data center and the move of existing data center components.  This SME will also need to document the exchanges and design they put in place.
  • The existing network infrastructure for all three data centers utilize Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000 series switches, along with other Local Area Network (LAN) switches and Internet Protocol (IP) routers.
  • The resource should have strong skills in a broad number of technologies including core route/switch and networking, as well as wireless, security and data center related activities. A strong understanding of structured cabling and cable plants to understand physical and logical connectivity is also necessary. The resource will also be asked to created network documentation as well. Some of the work may be at other customer locations. Customer is relocating their HQ facility currently in Washington DC to Tyson’s Corner (Fairfax) VA.
