Position Title: Informatica/DB2 Developer

Location : Somers, NY

Duration : 5 Months

 

Job Description :

Developer will work on enhancements to PBC Deal pricing application. This will require interacting with I/T lead to fully understand and implement the business requirements. Follow project lifecycle management to clearly document designs and test plans. Provide creative solutions for business challenges. Participate in design and code reviews. Deliver defect-free code which has been thoroughly tested. Effectively communicate status and issues with business partners and project team.

 

Responsibilities:
BS in Computer Science or related field with at least

5 years experience in Information Technology

2+ years development experience with Sybase, specifically stored procedure development

2+ years in DB2;

2 + years in Informatica development

2+ years development experience with UNIX KSH scripts

Knowledge of Sybase query optimizer & performance tuning techniques will be a plus. The individual must have clear understanding of software development life cycle.

Full competency, to devise or modify code to solve complex problems

Design, code, test, debug, and clearly document all deliverables

Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to interact with multiple levels of business organization

Proven organization/time management skills to work independently with multiple priorities.
