Location: Boston, MA

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, support and maintain of XML based integration between Client eProcurement and Accounting systems.
- Gain a thorough and in-depth understanding of the Integration environment technical architecture and all components of the assigned applications, including all middleware and operating system components.
- Design and develop solutions that clearly address the business objectives identified. Create software architecture documents and models according to the Commonwealth systems development methodology.
- Work closely with other Analysts, Programmers and Technical Leads in a highly collaborative environment.
- Ensure that work done meets business needs and will execute correctly and efficiently within test, QA and production environment by creating technical design artifacts, working with a high level of proficiency, performing detailed and thorough testing and actively participate in walkthroughs of artifacts.
- Create technical documentation in the approved format for the task assigned
- Attend and participate in troubleshooting sessions with support personnel

Education, Skills and Competencies:
- Extensive experience with XML Data Mapping and or XSLT Transformation.
- Experience working with software integration.
- Clear understanding on various communication protocols SFTP, FTPS and FTP.
- 3 years of Core C#, VB.NET and /or Java programming experience.
- Experience with Oracle PLSQL and or Microsoft SQL Server Transact SQL.
- Extensive experience with Windows 2008.
- Hands on experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and Web Services and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) design patterns.
- Must have experience resolving any data issue with internal staff, customer/vendor.
- Experience with source code control tools, defect tracking and testing tools.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand, appreciate and adapt to new cultures and ways of working.
- BS degree in information technology or related discipline
