Position: DataStage CDC

Location is in Nashville, TN

Start date: ASAP

 Duration: 3 Months

 

Job Description:

Develop and maintain highly complex high performance large-scale data warehouse design and architecture.

Develop robust ETL strategies to meet Data Warehouse requirements for near-real time data updates, history retention, complex hierarchies.

Experience with High volume Data.

Design and develop ETL jobs utilizing IBM DataStage, Change Data Capture (CDC) management console, Oracle, and Mainframe.

Implement techniques such as parallelization, partitioning, hashing, in memory operations (sorts, aggregations etc.) to  improve ETL performance.

Exp in using parallel stages like CDC, joins, Wave generator, merge, sort, lookup, filter, remove duplicates, funnel, row generator, modify, peek, oracle connector and DB2 connector stages etc. 

Work independently to investigate and resolve performance related problems.

RDBMS exp with Oracle 11g/10g/9i.

                                                                                                              

Exp in extracting data from mainframe by using Change Data Capture (CDC) management console.

ETL migration and Dimensional Modeling experience.

Exp in transmitting files using standard transfer protocol FTP/SCP.

Familiarity in job scheduling using Zeke.

Good verbal and written communication skills
