Chinese Study Confirms Abortion/Breast Cancer Link

A new study out of China confirms that induced abortions increase a woman's risk of breast cancer. Specifically, the study, a meta-analysis, found an increased risk of breast cancer by 44% with one abortion; by 76% with two abortions; and with 89% for three abortions.

Dr. Mary Davenport discusses the way that other research linking abortion and breast cancer has been suppressed by individuals and organizations that, for ideological reasons, are shirking their ethical obligation to make women aware of this research. If proponents of abortion rights are, indeed, proponents of "choice," then how can they dispute that part of women having true "freedom" to make such a choice is fully informing them about abortion's risks?
