Job Description:

Looking for an experienced Android application developer to drive development of the company's application for the Android OS based devices. Applicants must be well versed on rich UI based application development on Android, and ecommerce.

 

Job Responsibility

·         Participate on a small collaborative team with hands on design and development

·         Application architecture and feature development

·         Work closely with product management and quality teams on feature definitions, release milestones and project tracking

 

Required Skills

·         Demonstrated track record of developing and releasing Android applications

·         Demonstrated experience in object oriented design and development of applications and systems

·         Ability to collaborate with design teams to produce technically sound UI solutions and technology teams to leverage scalable, flexible frameworks.

·         Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, along with active team collaboration and communication.

·         In-depth debugging and triage skills; ability to reach out and use team strengths to solve problems

 

Required Qualifications

·         3+ years of mobile development experience

·         3+ development experience on the Android (5+ preferred)

·         Strong understanding of Android OS, developing in ADS, interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency, multi-threading and MVVM architecture.

·         Experience in Java and Android application performance analysis and tuning, benchmarking and unit testing is desired -Experience designing and consuming REST based web services.

·         Front end web development expertise a plus, particularly leveraging seamless web views in native applications.

·         BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline and experience preferred

 

Desired requirements:

·         Experience using Git, Jenkins, and static analysis tools in Eclipse

·         Experience in OOAD, with Java and Android as a focus

·         Knowledge of Android 4.0 and above SDKs, fragments, and compatibility libraries

·         iOS development experience, a plus

·         Assignment responsibilities & tasks: Analysis, design, development, and refactoring of Android application code. Implementing user interface designs in the application.
