Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Duration: 6+ Months

Type of Interview: Skype

 

The Software Engineer will:

 

Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues

Manage technical and product issues and escalations, delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction

Verify bugs and work with development on providing fixes

Influence product direction based on customer feedback

Publish knowledge base articles to improve our self-help offering

Participate in product development from an engineering perspective including:

§  Development

§  Code Review

§  Technical Documentation

§  Release Management

§  Remain current on evolving technologies and standards including but not limited to .NET framework , SQL Server, (LAMP, Greenplum, Aster, Hadoop, Nginx, Riak, Redis)- Any one of them, ExtJS, , HTML DOM, and CSS.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated experience;

Highly proficient in C# and .Net platform

Top notch written and verbal communication skills and comfort communicating with customers

Five (5) to seven (7) years' experience;

Solid working knowledge of a web stack, preferably on Windows

Previous experience in software development or software consulting and support

Experience with full life-cycle development;

Experience with DHTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus;

Experience with map reduce frameworks a plus;
