Must Have Skills:

• Must have experience managing Symantec NetBackup environments across multiple locations. 
• Must have experience with Backup and Recovery protocols (File, Database, NDMP, RMAN, snapshots)
• Must have experience managing Disk based backup systems.
• Must have extensive experience with Oracle RMAN backup integration.
• Must have experience working with VMWARE, LINUX and Windows 2008
• Must have experience with NFS Version 4 production.
• Must have experience programming in Perl and Shell scripting.
• Must have 'Strong' interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
• Must have experience writing systems documentation and procedures; a disciplined approach to change management processes.
• Familiarity with most operating system commands/utilities on Linux (Red Hat, Debian) and SUN Solaris.
• A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience

NICE TO HAVE:

• 5+ years of experience managing Tape silo and LTO technologies.
• Familiarity with Red Hat and Debian Linux distributions .
