Required Skills:

Experience with Oracle 11gR2 Database Administration

5+ Years of Oracle DBA experience with Application DBA skills is a must

5+ years in UNIX shell/Perl scripting 

3+ years in SQL tuning and PL/SQL scripting 

3+ years experience in System Analysis & Design

Finance Industry experience

 

Detailed Job Description:
5+ Years of Oracle DBA experience with Application DBA skills is a must. Candidate should have very good experience in Oracle Performance & Tuning, System Analysis & Design and providing Oracle Best practices to the application teams, which is the main focus of this position.

Undergraduate with Computer Science or other related specialty with equivalent experience.

Experience with Oracle 11gR2 Database Administration in Solaris/Linux server environments

3+ years in SQL tuning and PL/SQL scripting

3+ years experience in System Analysis & Design

3+ years experience with various methods of partitioning of tables/Indices

3+ years experience working with Development teams to review and execute Application release scripts.

3+ years working experience on performing Database Schema refresh using Oracle Data pump Expdp/Impdp and SQL Loader utilities

5+ years experience as an Oracle production and development DBA concurrently supporting multiple enterprise databases in UNIX 24X7 environments

Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting - drill down approach with O/S, database and application

5+ years in UNIX shell/Perl scripting

3+ years experience with OEM

Physical & Logical Modeling experience is preferred.

A good understanding or experience in performing database backup and recovery, applying Oracle Software patches, performing Oracle Database upgrades

Well developed written and verbal communication skills

Contracotor will work on multiple ERM/CLM applications

Physical and logical modeling experience is preferred.

Finance Industry experience
