Position Description:
The goal is to virtualize 430 servers from physical to virtual across Solaris, Linux and Windows platforms. We need help with solid configuration and design of the enterprise storage environment and enable optimal replication and smooth DR implementation.
Required Skills:
· EMC VMAX, VNX & VPLEX Block Storage Solutions.
· Brocade SAN directors and FCIP routers.
· Replication Design & Hands-on Implementation of EMC SRDF, RPA & VPLEX Metro for Block storage. As well as NetApp, EMC Data domain and Celarra NAS replication technologies for File based storage solutions.
· UNIX & Windows Volume Manager Configuration & Administration.
· VMware SRM Integration with EMC SRDF, RPA solutions.
· Any major enterprise backup & recovery solution (VERITAS Netbackup, IBM TSM or EMC Legato, CommVault, EMC Avamar).
· Understanding of HA and DR concepts as applied to major Infrastructure areas (Compute, Storage & Network) is a must.
· Prior experience in designing secure cloud & virtualized environments is a plus.
