Job Description:


The Integration Architect is accountable for keeping up to date on new and emerging developments in IT solutions. This position is expected to gain a working level understanding of these technologies by pursuing opportunities to gain practical knowledge through professional events, peer networks, or formal training. The role will identify opportunities to integrate new technology with the current environment to address business opportunities. This position serves the purpose of integration architect & developer for project activities.

The successful candidate will bring direct experience in designing, implementing and providing operational support for SAP integration solutions using middleware technologies such as SAP Process Integration (SAP PI), web services, and EDI technologies including Inovis TLE.

Responsibilities

1.Develop and sustain the 1-5 year Middleware Roadmap

Metrics

•Ensure middleware technology is current and aligned with other IS roadmaps.

•Collaborate with peers and leaders to develop roadmaps that will address future risks and are aligned with IS direction

 

Metrics

•Ensure the support and sustainability of all technology solutions is engineered in the design stage.

•Design and develop middleware solutions, and transition management and operations to support teams

 

3.Provide developer-level expert support including detailed problem analysis, troubleshooting and coding changes to existing TLE EDI and SAP PI Interfaces.

 

Metrics

•Work with external service providers and suppliers providing technology and application solutions to manage/ support integration systems.

•Create and maintain documentation of working of integration processes, systems or products Areas of technical expertise that apply to this role.

 

Experience:

 

•Degree in Information Systems, or a related field

•8-10+ years of IT technical experience

•5+ years of Middleware development and implementation

•Experience with developing and supporting SAP middleware interfaces including B2B and A2A scenarios.

•Experience with developing and supporting other integration tools, in particular Inovis TLE 6.x for EDI processing.

•A good working knowledge of the backend enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, SAP, is essential. 

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

 

•Proven ability to architect and implement B2B scenarios using various adaptors such as AS2, HTTPS, sFTP, FTP.

•Excellent communication skills allowing direct contact with trading partners (customers, vendors, suppliers, etc.).

•Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional environment, in particular SAP Basis, Project Teams, and business groups
