Job Title :- Senior Packaging Engineer

Location :- Fort Washington, PA

Duration :- 8 Months Plus contract

 

Note: Pharma/ Medical devices industry experience is mandatory.

 

Job description:

The Principal Engineer, Package Development is responsible for providing technical expertise in the areas of design, development, testing and production scale-up of new packaging component and systems. The individual provides departmental technical expertise and company leadership for package development while collaborating with research and development, marketing, market research, Supply Chain, process excellence and other affiliates to identify and address unmet consumer packaging needs.  The position may require management of a small group of package engineers.

 

Job Characteristics Information

·         Possesses thorough understanding of inject Molding, Blow Molding,  carton design, development of pallet patterns and Plastic materials ·         May be considered expert in a specialized area or practice ·         A working knowledge of related engineering disciplines ·         Positions will operate within the Global Engineering department with focus on package Development ·         Operates as leader or owner of a complex set of activities including the development and program management of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging components/projects
