Network Engg or Network Associate

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6 months contract extendable
Positions: 7 Positions

 

NOTE:

1. Experience on GTM in addition to LTM is must.
2. Experience converting Cirtix Netscalar to F5 is must.
3. Background in Switching is must.

Required Skills:

• Migrate a large number of complex applications from Citrix Netscalers to F5 LTMs
o Work with application teams to map application VIPS and dependencies
o Analyze existing Citrix Netscaler scripts to develop parallel configuration in F5 LTM's that may include iRules for content switching, HTTP header manipulation, etc.
o Implement F5 configurations with adherence to company global IT and InfoSec standards and industry best practices
o Work with application teams to fully test the new LTM setup prior to VIP cut-over
o Coordinate with project managers, application teams, and stake holders to cut-over to new F5 LTM VIPs during afterhours change windows
o Assist in validation and provide technical support on F5 VIP cut-over nights
o Document all configuration changes through the change management system
• Uplift load balanced applications from legacy datacenter to Apollo Compute Platform (ACP)
o Work with application uplift teams to map current application VIPS and dependencies and determine requirements for ACP F5 LTM VIP configuration
o Script F5 LTM and GTM (if required for disaster recovery) configurations of new VIPs with adherence to ACP datacenter design, company IT and InfoSec global standards and industry best practices
o Implement change scripts and work with application uplift teams to fully test new configurations
o Coordinate with project managers, application uplift teams, and stake holders to roll out new F5 LTM/GTM VIPs during afterhours change windows
o Assist in validation and provide technical support on F5 VIP cut-over nights
o Document all configuration changes through the change management system
