Description

 

Job Purpose:

 

Senior PHP developer for design, build and support of business applications for the institute. The person must have web-application development experience in PHP, MySQL, Oracle and other web technologies.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

Design and implementation of web based solutions using PHP to meet application needs.

Understand end user requirements and translate to design, code and implementation.

Provide mentoring to other team members on PHP based architecture.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

Education: B.S. in Computer Science or related

Work Experience: 5+ years' experience developing web application in with PHP; Experience with Drupal will be a plus.

Skills: Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript (including jQuery); Comfortable working in the LAMP stack. Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Skills: Familiarity with Drupal, SugarCRM, user interface development and mobile web application development.
