Title: SFDC (SalesForce.Com) Developer
Role Description:
Summary: The Salesforce.com Developer will design and implement solutions that are highly usable, scalable, and maintainable, mainly on the Force.com platform. Developing will primarily be in Apex and Visual force, but you should also have familiarity working with D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies. The developer will be responsible for the detailed design of technical solutions; will document the technical design and manage the development, testing, and support cycles. A strong understanding of relational database concepts with competency around MS SQL, MYSQL, or Database.com is necessary.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with business partners to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com CRM
* Align with business analyst to get an understanding of the process, requirements and data flows
* Design, code and implement solutions based on business needs
* Assist in the process of turning business requirements into design specifications
* Participate in developing change control processes and governance policy
* Conduct analysis and documentation of existing business processes; recommend process improvements
Qualifications:
* Experience with Salesforce.com development is required
* 5+ year experience using Java, JavaScript or database programming
* Certified Salesforce.com Developer
o DEV 401/501 certification is required
o ADM 201/301 certifications a plus
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
* Self-sufficient, flexible, and motivated team player capable of managing several activities simultaneously
* Ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment, and consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines
* Proven ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
* Ability to analyze business processes, design process improvements, and train business users to the new processes
* Strong communication skills and ability to lead project meetings
* Be able to work in and be part of a faced paced, high performing IT team
* Excellent knowledge of customer focused IT delivery methods is required
* Ideal Candidate will possess: Excellent customer service skills; true passion for technology; and a spirit for innovation
Technical Requirements:
* Extensive experience writing Apex (classes, triggers)
* Proficient in programming languages relevant to your job including general knowledge of language syntax and coding techniques (JavaScript, .NET, PHP, Ruby)
* Experience with developing visual force pages, visual force controllers/components and s-controls
* Experienced in integrating 3rd party systems with Salesforce.com
* Force.com and API development (WSDL, SOQL,SOSL,REST,SOAP)
* Experience working with various webservice and web development technologies including: XML, HTML5, Heroku, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, DOJO
* Experience with following database technologies: MySQL, MS SQL, Database.com, DBAmp
* Familiar with standard Salesforce functionality (SFA), workflows, validation rules, etc
* Excellent understanding of relational database concepts
* Solid understanding of object-oriented development
* Familiar with force.com Sites
* Experience with code coverage cleanup projects
* Experience creating and analyzing debug logs
* Must have a well-developed habit of commenting your code and writing documentation.
* Salesforce Touch/Mobile platform development experience a plus
* Knowledge of ETL and BI tools a plus
* Experience with ServiceMax field service management tool a plus
