Automated QA engineer
Location: Boston,MA
Duration: 6+ month contract

 

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of QA or accessibility testing experience
Familiarity with 508 (c) standard
Experience with JAWS, Voice Over or any other accessibility tools
Test automation skills in JAVA, C++, or .NET
Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices and methodologies
Direct hands-on experience with testing tools, and reporting software
Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent cross functional communication experience working with multiple project teams
Understanding of the Agile SDLC
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with both on & off shore engineering teams

 

RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsible for executing the suite of tests against the product using the defined
Exp w/ Accessibility tools
Identify issues
Working with Product Team on resolution
Bring your experience with the tools and current Accessibility Standards to perform tasks
Determine the accessibility test scope required for each release or user story
Execute accessibility testing strategy for product based on Pearson's implementation approach to 508 (c) standard
Confirm User Stories
Meet defined accessibility acceptance criteria.
Report issues
Validate fixes
Use Automation tools to continuously improve test efficiency
Communicate test progress and test results
Manage testing progress
