Job Title                        Java Architect Project Location            Hartford, CT Duration                         4 months /Contract Skills Required and Job Description: Interview mode:Telephonic Must have: Solid J2EE architect with proven experience designing and building enterprise web applications Java/J2EE Major MVC framework, preferably JSF Web services development and integration Major web services framework such as Axis Proven experience on large and enterprise scale solutions involving complex systems integration and strict performance and security requirements Solid understanding of frontend technologies using HTML5, JavaScript and CSS Strong client communication and  facilitation skills Ability to work in a complex client environment involving multiple parties; ability to resolve challenging dependencies Main duties and responsibilities: Attend/lead client meetings to present or facilitate technical design solutions Develop technical architecture and specifications Conduct design and code reviews as needed Partner with the offshore architect to define plans, communicate solutions and resolve daily issues Partner with the onshore Project Manager to define plans, manage scope and client risks/issues
