Job Title: AIX Administration

Location: Cranston, RI

Duration: 6 months

Offshore/Onsite: Onsite

Experience: Above 8yrs

Job Description: 

Hands on admin experience on AIX. Should be comfortable with different ITIL processes of Incident, Change and Problem Management.

Additional Info:

Must have clear work experience and address proof documents for successful background verification.

Technical Skills:

• AIX System Administration, Maintenance and Monitoring
• Hardware and Software configuration and troubleshooting issues
• Installation, configuration and management of applications e.g. Websphere, Apache Tomcat
• Backup, restore and Disaster Recovery

Responsibilities

• Incident and Availability Management – Managing major incidents, alerts and user requests for hardware, OS and application related issues, health checks and troubleshooting of issues
• Change Management and Request Fulfillment
• Reporting – Operational Documents, Runbook, SLA KPI (weekly/ Monthly), Collecting server data for audits
• Identifying areas of improvement and report to management
