TITLE: Information Security Architect Consultant

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an Information Security Architecture Consultant with background in IT Risk Management for a position at one of our larger clients.  The consultant's role will have several components, but will primarily involve documenting the architecture "patterns" for specific aspects of IT Security either in place or planned at the client's sites.  Specific areas involved in this engagement will include:

• Creation of new documentation for current and planned Information Security Processes
• Review of existing documentation to update and improve processes
• Storage and archiving of documentation in appropriate repositories

Requirements

• Experience in Risk Assessment, audit, and IT Security procedures and assessments
• Understanding of HIPAA-HITECH, PCI, HITRUST, ISO 27001, SOX, etc.
• Strong abilities with Microsoft Visio
• Knowledge and background with Universal Modeling Language (UML)
• Understanding of network, system, and architecture security best practices

Other Skills

• Security reporting documentation experience and analysis is also a plus
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security or Compliance services, IT Audit, Internal Audit, or Risk Management Experience
• Knowledge of healthcare and software industries is a plus
• 4 year degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
