we've drifted away from our proudest traditions of global leadership

"Unfortunately, for four years, we've drifted away from our proudest traditions of global leadership, traditions that are truly bipartisan," McCain said. "We've let the challenges we face, both at home and abroad, become harder to solve. We can't afford to stay on that course any longer."   Condoleezza Rice, NRC, 2012

And so it is, it has been several years since we started a foreign war. The only engagements we have entered into have been with the use of high technology, ie: drone attacks in Libia, and the take-down of Osama. We have ended the occupation of Iraq, and are scheduled to leave Afghanistan in 2014.

If Romney is elected CIC, we will almost certainly face a regional war in the ME, started by Israel's preemptive attack on Iran, leading to a widespread situation in Lebanon and Seria, possibly Egypt as well. Neocons never learn.
