Job Title:  Infrastructure Project Manager
Location:  Washington, DC
Duration:  6+ Months

 

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience;

-          PMP Certification

-          At least 5 years of professional experience with IT Data Center and Application Infrastructure projects; strategic planning, development, implementation of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms such as family of IBM products including Webshpere, Citrix, Oracle, SAN Storage, etc.;

-          Demonstrated experience producing and maintaining baselines, schedules and communication and implementation plans for technical project;

-          Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and leading adoption of project management principles and methods of executing IT projects in a fast-paced environment.

-          Experience with process analysis, ability to identify ways to improve the productivity and efficiency of your own work, as well as for others on your project team;

-          Ability to work collaboratively in internationally diverse work environment, and strong interpersonal skills;

-          Project Management Office (PMO) experience;

-          Certification in ITIL V3 Foundation in Service Management;

-          Experience with developing, implementing, and leading adoption of ITIL best practices in Service, Infrastructure and Application Management;

 

The qualified candidate must possess strong writing and interpersonal skills and must be able to work under tight schedule and deadlines.
