It has always been a "man's world", especially among the right wing.  Men's health care, is of course , just as important,  God forbid the government stop funding Viagra, right?   Women's annual pap smears, mammograms are just a few of the things ACA provides.  As a woman, I DO KNOW, that during the GW administration, the push was for pap smears only be done every 3 years.  WOW, too bad for the woman who develops cervical cancer, or ovarian cancer during that lapse in time.  The docs fought for at least dropped to 2 years, and I know many docs that " made up" reasons to do them annually, still.  Birth control pills ??  Again, the right wants procreation to the extreme, but after the baby is born,  they throw it out with the bath water.  Why not mandatory vasectomies for men after they father 2 children???  What's fair is fair, no?  Yeah, I know, it is ALWAYS the female's fault if she gets pregnant.  And Ryan saying a women's body will reject a fetus conceived from rape ???  Is he nuts or what ???

Romney/Ryan want to eliminate the ACA , which affects women's health, along with other benefits to all.  Sorry, you being a male, just does not understand the effects this will have on all, especially women.

Romney/Ryan want to do away with the 2300 page monster which is ObamaCare and rewrite it.  You have not read it; very few people have.  Consequently, you have no idea what it has in it about women's health care.  And BTW, why is women's health care more important than men's health care anyway? Are you referring to the purchase of $10 a month birth control pills? The bill needs rewriting and it needs to be short enough that those who vote on it can read it as well as the President who signs it. And most of all, it needs to be bi-partisan, not a one party document loaded with new taxes, penalties and other costs. The term "ACA" is a joke.

Rep. Paul Ryan has a long anti-choice record from his years in Congress.

And?  Obama had NO record in Congress except for his "present" votes (when he was there and not out campaigning).
  • During his time in the House, Rep. Ryan has cast 59 votes on abortion and other reproductive-rights issues.1 All of these votes were anti-choice.
  • He cosponsored "personhood" legislation that is so extreme that, if passed, it would ban abortion care in almost all cases, including rape or incest.2
I'm impressed.  He voted his principles.
He cosponsored a measure that would force a woman to undergo an ultrasound before she can receive abortion care, even if her doctor doesn't recommend it and even if it is against the woman's will.3

Real doctors don't recommend abortion unless the life of the mother is at stake or the baby  has died in the womb.
  • Rep. Ryan has been outspoken on his anti-choice views:

  •  Anti-abortion.  Anti-choice is PC for no choice to kill your progeny.  But please point out to me what this has to do with anything.  No one can change Roe v. Wade except the SCOTUS. Everyone can have an opinion on it, but that's all it is - an opinion.

Rep. Ryan voted for, and cosponsored, H.R.358, the "Let Women Die" bill. This bill would allow hospitals to refuse to provide emergency abortion care even when it's necessary to save a woman's life.

Rep. Ryan was one of 145 co-sponsors of HR358, the title of which was NOT the "Let Women Die" bill.  It passed the House by 251 to 172 with the help  of 15 democrats. So obviously with that many voting against the bill, including some dems, the bill does not read exactly as you would have us believe.  I should have read the bill while  I had it on my monitor, but I didn't.  I was concentrating on gathering info on Rep. Ryan.

Romney's Running Mate Supports Extreme Ultrasound Bill

Rep. Paul Ryan backed a bill that would force a woman to get a medically unnecessary ultrasound before she can access abortion care - even if she doesn't want one and even if her doctor doesn't recommend it.

LOL! An ultrasound test is not extreme.

Annie, watch this and tell us again how Republicans are trying to do away with health care for women. You have one more year for mammograms if Obamacare remains the law of the land.
