Re: How many people die from starvation each year in America?

My husband's mother died of stomach cancer, but her death certificate says that she died of starvation.
Someone is twisting the numbers for some reason.

How much money do we spend feeding the poor compared to the money we
spend defending our citizens from terrorists? How many Americans have
been killed by terrorist in the past 50 years? I thought we spend
money to save lives?
