Re: Obama taxes the middleclass

A key difference is that federal government cannot go bankrupt. States and municipalities can and are thus required to have balanced budgets.
We are old enough to have managed pension funds. In most states teachers have their pension deducted from social security since legislators thought we wre double dipping..
