Description:

Provide production support responsibilities for Electronic Data Warehouse (EDW) application maintenance problems that require database, application code and/or operational modifications as a result of error correction. Support includes the following:Performing root cause analysis for problems.Updating user,system, service desk & operations documentation as necessary.Performing EDW application tuning,code restructuring & other efforts to improve efficiency & reliability of programs & to minimize ongoing maintenance requirements.Providing support related data for financial justification & planning preventive maintenance & minor enhancements. Monitoring & analyzing trends to identify potential problems.Reporting these trends to the client upon request.

Performing minor enhancements to the EDW application. Testing the corrections following client's Change Management process. Performing all Ad Hoc requests that may be initiated by Client.

 

Required skills:  (1-4, with 4 being the highest)

SQL Level 4

Data stage Level 4

ETL Level 3

Unix scripting Level 3

Teradata Level 3

Communication Skills Level 3

Nice to have skills:

MDM Level 3 (optional)

Informatica Level 3 (optional)

Autosys Scheduler (optional)
