That's an ignorant statement. Plenty of the folks I worked with
were from the South. As I said my boss had to return to San Antonio. No my
family is not from the South and every one of us was either born in
Pennsylvania or NYS. My wife was born in Gainesville FL but she was a
university brat (her Dad was a History Prof at Univ of FL, Gainesville and
then an Air Force Brat). My Mom was from NC and even had a grandfather
named Jefferson Davis named by his Father who'd served in the Confederate
Army. However even she had Yankees in her family by the name of Paige. My
wife's father was from Connecticut and her mother from Jacksonville, FL. SO
WHAT? I don't have this problem you and Les have with Southerners and can
see it only as the close minded bigotry of the wannabee elite.

The way you apparently feel about Southerners based on the comment
by your coworker is exactly the way I feel about those who have tried to
undermine the GWOT from its first days.
