Re: HP getting ready to layoff 25,000 workers.

I've been on a toy buying binge ever since 2001 when my wife passed
away and I retired and I have electronic stuff all over the house. The
current craze, though, is obviously portable devices and I've never
got into those at all. I'll just leave those for the younger
generation. For about 20 years now, I've been predicting that the next
big craze will be robots, and eventually personal robots. That's one
prediction that I've struck out on so far.

I remember back in the 70s that a lot of "experts" were predicting
revolutionary new treatments for disease in the early 21st century and
the growth of replacement, human parts, etc. That's another prediction
that hasn't materialized yet.
