Job Title / Role:           Technical Architect Classification:                 IT / Insurance Domain Location:                 Bloomington, Illinois, United States Required Experience:        8+ Years of experience Requirement Overview: Required technical architect with demonstrated experience in successfully delivering information technology business solution for small to large scale applications across multiple hardware and software platforms using Java/J2EE and related technologies. Skills / Qualifications:         Ø        Should have worked on multiple technologies. Ø        Prior experience on being an architect in designing and developing high performance, high availability, efficient and scalable systems.   Ø        Strong knowledge on Object-Oriented Design (OOD) concepts and Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Ø        Strong knowledge and able to implement J2EE design patterns that improve existing and new applications. Ø        Strong knowledge on Java, JSP, Servlets, JSF, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow, Web Programming Skills, XML, Apache Common Logging, STS, Maven, Mule and Junit testing. Ø        Should have experience on MVC Framework. Ø        Should have strong knowledge on database concepts. Ø        Strong knowledge on Service Oriented Architecture. Ø        Ability to multi-task in changing environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. Ø        Ability to interact and work with other interfacing teams. Ø        Candidates are required to poses strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ø        Should have strong oral & written communication skills and have experience on interacting with clients. Ø        Exposure to P&C Domain is an added advantage Job Responsibilities: Ø        Architect, design, develop, integrate and maintain new and existing Java/J2EE application that delivers content and services using Spring MVC framework. Ø        Participate and ensure end-to-end development and integration of new features with other systems using webservices. Ø        Implement J2EE design patterns that improve existing and new applications. Ø        Understanding the existing architecture of the system. Ø        Guiding the team members in the below technologies Java, JSP, Servlets, JSF, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Web Programming Skills, XML, Apache Common Logging, STS, Maven, Mule. Ø        Interpret business requirements and accurately reflect these requirements in the design. Ø        Present design solutions to other technical teams. Ø        Ensure designs are consistent with the existing architecture. Ø        Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assignments. Ø        Follow high level of standards across all levels of design work. Ø        Work closely with other areas of the company including business teams and other design/development teams. Ø        Design to performance requirements in an effort to ensure that all applications are highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic. Ø        Anticipate and resolve technical problems and solve difficult challenges. Ø        Technical guidance to other members in the team. Technical Co-ordination with the offshore team.
