Sr. Java Backend Engineer in Milpitas, Ca

 

Location: Milpitas, Ca

Duration: 6 months

Visa: USC, GC and H1B

MOI: Face To Face

Local candidates only (onsite mandatory)

 

Someone coming from networking background is best (ex: network company like Cisco, Juniper Networks, etc)

 

 

Responsibilities:

        Will be responsible for architecting and developing various modules of the company's application's web, middle, and database tiers.

        Will collaborate directly with a cross-functional team of Developers, QA, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the design and development process.

Must Haves:

· 7+ years of Java development experience

· Solid foundation in computer science with strong competency in data structures, algorithms, databases, and object oriented software design

· Strong experience  with Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, Maven, and Git

· Experience working with Linux, SQL, Oracle Database

Desired:

· Strong knowledge of PowerBuilder, Shell Scripting a big plus

· Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and DevOps  functions.

· BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline- big plus

· Solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies a plus
