Position Title:         CCAR Consultant

Location:                 Long Island City, NY

Duration:                1+ Year Contract

 

Roles and responsibilities:

• Work with a Leading Bank's Risk Management team on specific projects/requirements pertaining to CCAR Model Development Documentation
• Individual will work with a broad range of quantitative and exploratory analysis/ Outputs to support the documentation (example: Stress Testing, In Sample validation, Out of Time validation, Macroeconomic assumptions etc.)
• Individual should be able to extract and interpret the analysis output and collaborate with  business partners
• Take complete ownership of the project and co-ordinate with onshore and offshore teams to leverage the time zone benefits for shorter turnaround time
• Needs less directed guidance, be very familiar with the data analysis techniques, PD, LGD and EAD modeling, Stress testing and CCAR/ DFAST regulations can carry out analyses/plotting with minimal guidance, and can meet/discuss with business partners on own
• Build client relationships, adopt an engagement model with clear cadence on communication within the client organization
• Support BD activities for growth of team

 

Skills and competencies:

• Experience in CCAR/ DFAST/ BASEL Modeling
• Well versed with advanced statistical techniques to carry out the analysis
• Extensive hands-on experience in SQL, SAS, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
• Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of thought
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to learn complex businesses very quickly, define problems accurately while paying attention to details in the solution
• Ability to develop strong relationships with client and offshore teams
• Excellent communications skills
