Role:            SQL Server DBA

Location:      West Chester, PA

Duration:      12 Months

 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Expertise in SQL Server database administration (SQL Server 2008, 2008R2, and 2012)

2. SQL clustering/HA configuration experience

3. Always-On/Active-Active HA experience

4. Experience with Replication (especially configuring and troubleshooting P2P replication)

5. Experience with Database Mirroring

6. Experience with large scale/ high volume SQL configurations (maintenance, backup, recovery, etc.)

7. Experience in DB upgrade and migration

8. Experience with SSIS and SSRS

9. Experience in SQL Server installation and applying patching

10. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.

11. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

12. Experience in SQL Server tools ( Profiler, SSMS, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)
