Security Analyst/Developer

Guys, this is not regular Java developer, the candidate should have security background, not only development knowledge. The consultant should have experience with security scanning tools, Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection etc. Please read the job description thoroughly

Summary:

·         Develop and design web applications and web sites.

·         Responsible to align Caterpillar EA standards for defined web applications scanned with security scanning tools

·         A number of web application vulnerabilities were found and need to be addressed for each application.

·         Required to analyze/remediate web vulnerabilities.

·         Work with application development teams to direct application updates.

·         Review problems uncovered by security scans and provide resolution.

 

Required:

·         Java 1.6 and above.

·         Secure knowledge & development knowledge.

·         Proficiency in web vulnerabilities, primarily Cross Site Scripting and SQL Injection, STRUTS, JavaScript, HTML, XML

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training required.

·         Five to seven years previous IT experience required.

 

Desired:

·         Extreme Tables, TUF Understanding, Application vulnerability exploitation or application penetration testing knowledge, IMS ITOC, Hibernate, HP Webinspect.

·         Travel Requirement 0-25%

 

Skills and Competencies:

·         Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

·         Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time.
