Role: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6+ months
Relevant Experience (Yrs) Exp 6+ yrs of experience of Oracle DB Admin/ Developer
Technical/Functional Skills
• Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools
• A good understanding of the underlying operating system
• Knowledge of the physical database design
• Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
• Knowledge of Oracle security management
• Knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
• Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
• Strong Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of PL/SQL
• SQL Loader skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
• Monitoring/checking/performing the Database backup & recovery process
• Create the PL/SQL procedures/functions
• Create complex SQL queries to perform certain activities
