Responsibilities:
5+ years. The Database Administrator is responsible for the database design and management. Competent individual capable of developing and executing database designs for highly complex products.
Attributes:
· 5 or more years' experience in a database administration or database system programmer support role
· Within the last 2 years, demonstrated proficiency in:
· Database technology required for the role: MS/SQL Server, MS Access, UDB on AIX, UDB on Intel or DB2 z/OS
· Database modeling and design
· Support of performance tuning or capacity planning initiatives
· Working knowledge of ITIL (Infrastructure Technology Information Library) Framework
· Demonstrated proficiency with tools required for the role:
· System Support: TMON, MQ Enterprise, PQ Edit, DBAXpert,, Princeton Softech, Quest Central Administration: DBAXpert, Quest Central, SQL Server Client, CAE
