Sr. VOIP/ Network Engineer 

Tempe, AZ

Long Term Contract

 

Job Description:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Business or related field and/or demonstrated capability through previous experience and education to perform job responsibilities.  5 to 10 years in enterprise VOIP systems with deployments across multiple sites.

 

Technical Skills:

·         In depth knowledge on Cisco CCM (Cisco call manager) with hands on experience in configuring managing Cisco CCM and Cisco IP phone systems. 

·         Experience in SRST technologies and SIP/SKINNY protocols. 

·         Should have hands on experience in Cisco Unity VM and working knowledge in Cisco Contract center technologies. 

·         Cisco CVP certification Preferable and Cisco CCNA/CCNP Certification. 

·         Experience in maintenance of CCM with integration with enterprise directory systems.

·         In depth knowledge of configuration with Cisco IOS, routers, VPN concentrators, network switches, and firewalls, Knowledge or understanding of various internetworking protocols such as TCP/IP, RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, PPP, HSRP, DHCP, NAT, IPSec and ATM. 

·         Knowledge in LAN, WAN, MAN, VPN and network security technologies.

·         Knowledge and experience with network and systems management/analysis tools such as, Cisco Works, MRTG, IPMonitor, Distributed Sniffer, Solarwinds etc.

·         Knowledge of Windows 200X, Active Directory, IIS, Linux, DNS, FTP and SMTP desired. 

·         Knowledge of Avaya Aura VOIP systems will be a secondary skillset and desired.  (Can be trained)

·         Also needs some windows/ Linux knowledge primarily related to Cisco CCM and Cisco Works
